Flirting Signs
People often show interest in another by means of flirting. The ability to interpret certain behavioural signs will indicate whether or not someone is actually flirting. Flirting signs may include facial expressions, gestures and aspects of conversation.
Compliments on the another’s appearance and the way in which they dress is a sign. Conversely, they may tease about another’s appearance in a light hearted way.
Body language is one way in which an individual may indicate their interest in another. Both men and women both use body language when communicating with others, whether or not they are sensitive to doing it. A person may disclose more than they would like to say; often revealing how they feel about the other person.
An additional indication that a person may be interested, is their proximity to you; a positive indication being if they position themselves closer. If you’re speaking with someone, observe the direction in which that person’s body is directed. When that person is interested in you, they might position their body towards you, also pay attention to whether they touch your arm or hand during conversation.
A person will often preen themselves in some way in front of a person to whom they are attracted. Whilst conversing, they may play with their glass, or hair. They may play with clothing of the individual with whom they are communicating.
There are many clues which indicate that someone is flirting. Rather than just focus on one particular aspect of body language, assemble a bigger picture. Observing the ways in which people conduct themselves towards you may reveal indications of interest or attraction. Discovering just a few of the flirting signs will help you to interpret another’s feelings towards you.
